My second art studio
Time moved forward, and I had to leave my old studio. During the interim, I didn't have a dedicated space again, so I resumed painting at home. We decided to move to the countryside with the family when the era of COVID-19 emerged, and going out became restricted. Living in the countryside is great; you can paint outdoors on the terrace or by the garden in beautiful weather and enjoy the surroundings. There's no need to gather extra things to go into town and find a place to paint, although, at times, that was also enjoyable.
Some more time passed, and I managed to acquire a new studio space. Although it was significantly smaller than the previous one and required a bit of work, it suited me quite well. I was able to create a cozy and pleasant atmosphere there.
When we initially started painting the room, everything seemed quite straightforward. My husband and I painted the room nicely white together and then went home to continue the next day. However, to our surprise, when we opened the door the following day, we were met with a shocking sight. Some of the paint had dripped down from the exterior wall of the room. We had to redo everything from scratch.
Fortunately, we managed to solve the issue, and we were able to move all our belongings into the room and set it up. The result turned out quite pleasant in the end!
I also resumed giving art lessons, but this time mostly to children. I had gained several regular clients who enjoyed painting very much and attended weekly. The new studio had a homely atmosphere.
